We ensure our visitors return home safely
Surf life saving is part of Australia’s heritage and one of its greatest traditions. It is an iconic example of Australian pride, generosity, self-reliance, safety and a willingness to provide a volunteer service to the community. The image of the surf lifesaver is one of bravery, dedication, responsibility and commitment.
During summer months, Grange Surf Life Saving Club provides this essential and highly visible voluntary service along 6 km of one of Adelaide’s most beautiful and busiest stretches of beach – from Henley to Tennyson. Surf lifesaving exists to save lives. At the beach, a lifesaving rescue relies on split second decisions and high levels of fitness and endurance. We are committed to helping reduce the coastal drowning rate.
