Venue Booking Form

Venue booking submissions will not be replied to between Fri 20th Dec to Sun 5th Jan.
Submissions over these days will still be received but they will be actioned by our volunteer functions manager after Sun 5th Jan.


Payment

We require both the general public and club members to pay the venue hire fee within 7 days of receiving confirmation the room is available. Failure to pay will void the booking and allow the room to be booked by others.

* If making payment only, you do not need to fill in the booking form again.

Mon to Fri ($450 per day)
Sat/Sun Night ($650 per day)

Terms & Conditions

Payments

  • Room Hire Fee: must be paid within 7 days after receiving confirmation room is available.

  • Extras: must be paid at least 7 days prior to your event.

  • Bar tab: must be paid by credit card on the day/night of your event.

  • Minimum Bar Spend (Sat Night): $2000 (not including venue hire fee)

    • Non Drinking Function: No minimum bar spend.

    • Drinking Function: If total drinks for the night does not reach minimum bar spend then 50% of the remaining amount will be added to the bar tab.

  • No Cash Accepted: Grange SLSC is a cashless venue. Card and contactless payments only

  • Member Discount: Must be a full member and financial at the time of booking. Contact the Functions manager for further information.

Cancellations

  • Customer: Cancelling your booking within 14 days of your event will result in a forfeit of the room hire fee. Cancellations must be submitted via email to the Functions Manger on functionhire@grangeslsc.asn.au

  • Grange SLSC: may cancel a booking should the club not be able to facilitate the event.

Venue Viewing is done in Grange SLSC open hours, which is each Friday from 6pm onwards.

Event Duration

  • Night functions are for a maximum of 6 hours and must be completed by midnight. A further 30 minutes is allowed for pack up and clearing of guests.

  • Day functions are a maximum of 8 hours unless specified otherwise.

  • Additional staff wages and venue hire costs will be covered by the customer if the venue is not vacated within the even duration.

  • Grange SLSC is not open or staffed outside the agreed event duration.

Bump In (Set Up)

  • Grange SLSC is not staffed or open to the general public therefore deliveries and setup times are limited.

  • Night Functions: Grange SLSC will be opened at an agreed time on the event day for one bump in (3 hours).

  • Day Functions: Grange SLSC will be opened at an agreed time on the day prior to the event for one bump in (3 hours).

  • All deliveries and set up must be completed in the one bump in.

  • The customer must remain for the complete bump in to receive all equipment and catering they have arranged.

Bump Out (Pack Up)

  • Grange SLSC is not staffed or open to the general public therefore pickups and pack up times are limited.

  • All items must be removed from Grange SLSC on the day/night of the event except for large hire equipment.

  • For large hire equipment, the club will be re-opened at an agreed time for one bump out (3 hours).

  • All pack up must be completed in the one bump out.

  • The customer must remain for the complete bump out to coordinate the pickup of all equipment they have hired.

Tables & Chairs

  • Grange SLSC tables and chairs are provided free of charge. Table linen or alternative tables and chair hire is available at an extra cost from our preferred supplier Olympic Party Hire.

  • Customers must advise Grange SLSC of the number of Grange SLSC table and chairs required for the event at least 7 days prior to the function. Grange SLSC will remove excess tables and chairs on the prior day(s) to the function.

  • Unless requested otherwise, the main dining room will be pre set up as cocktail style, with no dining tables or chairs. The board room will be pre set up as u-shape style.

  • Final positioning of tables and chairs to be done by the customer at bump in.

Catering

  • Grange SLSC allows customers to source their own external catering.

  • Grange SLSC can provide the customer with a list of preferred local caterers for customers to organise and pay for catering directly.

  • Grange SLSC takes no responsibility for the food provided by external caterers, both during the event and after the food leaves the premises.

  • Hire includes access to kitchen area for food storage only. Hire does not include the use of equipment to prepare food on site.

  • Venue hire does not include staff to serve catering.

Drinks Our licensed bar is available open request. Guests are not allowed to bring their own alcoholic drinks to our venue.

Minors All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Security It is the discretion of Grange SLSC to determine if security is required for an event. If it is determined that it is required then this cost will be covered by the customer.

Decorations No scatters, confetti or glitter are permitted. You are welcome to decorate the room yourself but nothing is to be screwed, nailed or adhered to walls or other surfaces of the venue.

Cleaning General cleaning is included in the room hire cost. If excessive cleaning is required, additional charges may apply.

Damages & Liability The customer is responsible for any damages sustained to Grange SLSC. This includes all equipment owned by Grange SLSC or hired by us on your behalf.

Responsible Service of Alcohol Grange SLSC reserves the right to refuse service and/or entry to anyone deemed to be exhibiting intoxication or inappropriate behaviour. Alcohol which has been received as a gift, or purchased externally, must not be consumed on the premises. Grange SLSC reserves the right to close the bar service at any point within the duration of the event should it be deemed necessary to do so.
